"The Little House is a special place. Over ten years my
three, very different children have thrived in the true
Montessori environment. The highly experienced staff
guide, educate, care for and inspire every child as they
journey through the precious early years. By reception age
The Little House children are well equipped with the skills
needed to settle in and succeed."

"The Little House is a unique and special place where I
watch my daughter Natasha develop and flourish. Every
morning I am asked 'please may I go to The Little House
today?' and every time I pick Natasha up I am asked 'please
may I stay at The Little House?' This is testimony in itself.
The individual attention that each child receives is
incredible and the wonderful teachers know how to get the
best out of each child. They instinctively know their
strengths and weaknesses and encourage them to blossom
at their own pace giving them confidence and belief in
themselves. Friends watch in disbelief as Natasha pours
them drinks and passes round biscuits, all skills which are
taught at The Little House.
The Little House teaches good manners and etiquette which
I believe gives a solid foundation for their future. The work
that Natasha comes home with shows their well rounded
education, from painting to baking, cutting out to being
able to count in French, noticing the song of a black bird.
Natasha has real pride in telling me what she has done and
the enthusiasm in which she describes her day fills me with
such happiness.
The Little House really cares and the love and warmth and
passion for the well being of their children shines from
their windows. My only regret is that they can't stay till
they're eighteen.”

"Miss Su Su is a great teacher and fun. At The Little House
all the teachers took care of us, I felt part of a family. I
learnt lots about letters and numbers and I went on many
adventures with my wellies on. I hope that one day my
children will go to The Little House School."

"From the moment I walked through the door of The Little
House, met Miss Su Su and her team, I was instantly
convinced. A room of happy, glowing and vibrant little
people, all going about their individual and varied tasks
with such quiet concentration, pride and obvious
enjoyment, was a joy to behold. The Little House exudes
such a calm and happy environment full of warmth, gentle
nurturing and guidance for all to thrive and learn in.
On meeting Miss Su Su, her terrific passion, dedication and
devotion for all the children in her care, their individual
needs for their learning was immediately obvious to me.
As a result, Rosie's application form was immediately
submitted. A place for her was our very definite priority!
It was the best decision of our lives, Rosie and Jack are now
at The Little House, daily thriving in such a unique
environment. My only regret is that it's such a shame our
children can't stay with Miss Su Su at The Little House
until they are 18!
So I give my wholehearted endorsement to any prospective
parents of The Little House. It's a huge comfort to know
we've given them the happiest of starts and a terrific
foundation for life and their further education, by sharing
them with the truly exceptional Miss Su Su and her
wonderful team."

"The Little House is more than just a pre-school. A
wonderful environment where children have individual
focus from the teachers and are encouraged to be
independent, caring and respectful of one another. All 3 of
our children have attended The Little House and have
learnt valuable skills to prepare them for school, and for
life.
It is a very special place where children learn, play and
flourish."

is what Su Su creates with her devotion, love,
understanding and experience to enable each small child
to flourish in a warm, cosy and secure environment."

“I sent my three very different children to The Little House
and they flourished there. The best start any parent could
give their child. My children developed confidence and a
love of learning at The Little House.”

“The Little House is exceptional, as are the ladies who run
it. Their attention to each child as an individual is second
to none and children flourish in this environment, where
they are encouraged to learn in so many different ways,
whether through art, music, drama, playing in the garden
or with the Montessori equipment, growing vegetables or
learning French. It is a truly unique nursery setting and
one which I cannot recommend highly enough. Our three
older children all thrived there. It prepared them
beautifully for school and they have so many happy
memories, not least being allowed to ring the school bell
on their birthday and making lemonade for snack on
special occasions!”

“My Montessori education at The Little House taught me
tenacity, self discipline, motivation and respect for others.
Which has helped me tremendously in starting and running
my own business.”

“The Little House is a special place. It is so evident that the
children have fun but in an orderly learning environment.
Our daughter, Lily, has benefitted greatly from her time at
The Little House. She hasn’t once hesitated to greet her
teachers at the door. It is a warm and caring environment
where she can enjoy herself but at the same time begin to be
taught the basics of mathematics and language. As parents,
we have really enjoyed the demonstration evenings, seeing
first hand the activities Lily has completed during the day.
The wonderful objects the children handle give them a firm
basis for the Montessori principles of independence,
confidence but consideration for others. Lily has brought all
of these attributes home with her. Su Su has reported that
Lily has such great determination to succeed. The quality of
the teachers and the environment Su Su has created allow
these character traits to blossom. The teachers clearly give
attention and encouragement to each child to enjoy their
successes and not be beaten by their failures.
We look forward to our youngest daughter starting her own
journey at The Little House and encourage other parents to
benefit from this unique environment and give their children
the best possible start to their learning.“

"The Little House is the best possible pre-school we could
have found for our daughters. The staff are extremely adept
at getting to know the girls and discovering their individual
personalities. Their strength and weaknesses were quickly
identified and the level of effort put in by the staff to guide
them through the early years has far surpassed any
expectation of a pre-school setting I had. "

“As a Primary School teacher myself, and after a short notice
relocation from London to Cheshire, I hunted for a Montessori to rival
my daughters outstanding London Montessori Nursery. Thankfully I
discovered Miss Su Su and her enchanting school. On visiting her,
and seeing The Little House in action, this became our pinpoint on the
map for finding somewhere to live.
I don’t regret basing our location near The Little House one bit! With
its traditional values of excellent manners, natural communication
skills and a high standard of learning my daughter has been
ridiculously happy there and made sensational academic, social and
physical development.
The Little House has a high teacher to pupil ratio; all of the teachers
are delightful, and most importantly love and nurture the children for
the unique individuals that they are. The teachers’ expertise has
helped my daughter become incredibly independent. With the
Montessori methods promoting excellent gross and fine motor skills,
she can now turn her hand to numerous practical activities and has
excellent control of a pencil when doing letter and number formation.
With terminology book creations produced by the children, alongside
numerous other speech and language opportunities within the
classroom, she has a vocabulary that regularly amazes me and others
around her. The Montessori method of learning promotes invaluable
key skills for future learning and life. During my daughter’s time at
The Little House she has developed an enquiring mind, a thirst for
new knowledge and skills, but most importantly the confidence and
desire to love education as she embarks on her formal schooling for
many years ahead.
The Little House is a hidden gem. Those lucky enough to be a part of
it will undoubtedly remember it forever – for all of the right reasons. I
feel enormously fortunate to have a younger daughter who will also
benefit and grow from her time there too. Now I just need to pray that
we don’t need to relocate again in the next two years so that she too
may have the full experience of this sensational school and the
fantastic people behind it!”
